Research, teaching and writing sit on top of clinical work, and they are usually the first things to slip. This is contracted support for that side of the job, and for the clinical questions that come out of it - a second set of hands on a grant, a study plan, a manuscript, or a hard question you want the literature on before your next appointment.

My work with you is meant to be short-term, but what we build together lasts. I set up custom AI-based systems that streamline your workflow, update regularly to keep you on the cutting edge of your field, and free your time for what matters most to you. Once they are running, I step back - and you can loop me in as a consultant whenever you need.

Clinical questions from your practice: When a patient's situation raises a question you want the published evidence on, I do that search and hand you what the literature says. You keep the clinical judgment and the relationship with your patient.
Project development: Shaping an idea into a defined project with a scope, a question, and a plan you can hand to a team.
Grant drafting: Drafting and redrafting the narrative, the aims and the supporting sections, working to the funder's own criteria and deadlines.
Study planning: Working through design, endpoints, inclusion and exclusion, and the practical question of what data you will actually be able to collect.
Organization and timelines: Building the system that keeps a project on track: what happens when, who owns it, and what has to finish before the next thing starts.
Team support: Giving your trainees and staff a clear picture of what needs doing and in what order, and answering the questions that come up along the way.
Manuscripts and presentations: Structuring and editing manuscripts, posters and talks so the argument is clear and the figures carry it.
Custom AI systems for your team: I build internal AI systems around how you and your team already work - literature searches, project tracking, drafting, and the communication that keeps everyone on the same page. The system keeps your team up to date on new evidence, project status and deadlines, so no one has to chase updates. The goal is for your research processes to run smoothly without me in the loop every day.

How this works

This is meant to be short-term. I build the systems your team needs, make sure they run, and step back - then you can loop me in as needed for consulting.
Every engagement starts with a conversation about scope and what finished looks like.
Fees are quoted against that scope, in writing, before any work begins.
Authorship and acknowledgment follow the journal's or funder's own criteria, and are agreed in writing before work starts.
I have no contact with your patients, form no relationship with them, and make no clinical decision. Every judgment about a patient stays with you.
Questions come to me de-identified. I do not need, want or accept your patients' records or identifying details.
