Terms of Sale and Personal License

1. These terms

1.1 Oser Clair LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("Osér Clair", "we" or "us"), sells The Condition Dossier through The Library at oserclair.com/library. These terms apply to every purchase. You accept them when you tick the box at checkout and complete your purchase. If you don't agree, please don't buy.

1.2 Our Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy also apply. If anything in them conflicts with these terms on a purchase, these terms control.

1.3 You must be 18 or older to buy a Condition Dossier.

2. What you're buying

2.1 A Condition Dossier is a written research summary of the published medical literature on one condition, delivered as a PDF. It covers what current guidelines say, the established options and the evidence behind each, clinical trials with their published eligibility criteria, and general questions to take to your care team.

2.2 Each dossier shows its version number and the date its literature is current through. It describes what the literature said on that date. It doesn't describe you, and it isn't written for your situation.

2.3 The criteria that decide what goes into a dossier are published in advance and applied the same way to every dossier. Nothing is ranked or recommended.

2.4 Dossiers are written for readers in the United States. Where availability matters, such as FDA status or trial sites, they describe the US picture.

3. Not medical advice

3.1 A Condition Dossier is educational. It isn't medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it doesn't recommend, rank or sequence any option. Osér Clair is not a medical practice.

3.2 Buying a dossier doesn't create a clinician-patient relationship, or any client relationship, with Osér Clair. Please take the questions in it to a licensed clinician who knows your history before you make any decision about your health.

3.3 If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.

3.4 We can't answer questions about your own situation by email. Corrections and questions about a source are always welcome. If you'd like help preparing for your own appointments, that is a separate service that starts with a free orientation call.

4. Who writes the dossiers

4.1 Every Condition Dossier is edited and approved by Lola Lozano, who has completed and defended her doctoral research and is not a licensed clinician.

4.2 We use AI tools to help search the literature, organize findings and prepare first drafts. AI tools don't decide what's included. Lola reviews every dossier and checks every citation against the source it names before release.

5. The literature changes

5.1 New studies, guidelines and safety information appear after a dossier's current-through date. A dossier can be accurate on that date and out of date later. Always confirm current information with your care team.

6. Updates

6.1 For 12 months after your purchase date, you can request any new version of the same dossier that we release, at no charge. Email lola@oserclair.com from the address you used at checkout, and we'll send you a link to download the latest version.

6.2 We check each dossier regularly against published update criteria and release a new version when something meets them. We don't promise that a new version will come out in any particular period, only that any we release during your 12 months are yours free on request.

6.3 If we take a dossier off sale, we aren't obliged to release new versions of it. The copy you bought, and your license to it, stay yours.

7. Your license

7.1 When you buy a dossier, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, print and keep it for your own personal, non-commercial use, and to share it with your own clinicians.

7.2 You may not resell, republish, post, upload, share publicly or distribute it, in whole or in part, or use it to train or build AI models or other products.

7.3 Each dossier is © Oser Clair LLC. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Delivery and access

8.1 Your dossier is available to download right after payment. We also email you a download link, which works for 7 days.

8.2 If your link expires or doesn't arrive, reply to your receipt or email lola@oserclair.com and we'll send a new one.

8.3 Please save a copy. We don't promise download access indefinitely.

9. Price, payment and tax

9.1 Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies, based on your location.

9.2 Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

10. Refunds

10.1 Because Condition Dossiers are delivered instantly as digital files, all sales are final, with three exceptions. Email lola@oserclair.com within 7 days of purchase if any of these happens:

• Your file won't open or is damaged. We'll send you a working copy, or refund you if we can't.
• You were charged twice for the same dossier. We'll refund the duplicate charge.
• You bought the wrong dossier and haven't downloaded it. We'll refund you or switch it for the right one.

10.2 Refunds go back to your original payment method. Our Refund Policy has the details.

11. Your information

11.1 We collect your name, email address, the dossier you bought and the purchase date so we can deliver it, send updates and keep tax records. Because the topic of a dossier can suggest something about your health, we treat this as consumer health data. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how it's handled.

11.2 We won't add you to The Weekly Note or use your purchase for marketing unless you tick the separate opt-in box at checkout.

12. Our responsibility to you

12.1 We take care to make every dossier accurate as of its current-through date. To the fullest extent the law allows, dossiers are otherwise provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including any warranty that a dossier is complete, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

12.2 To the fullest extent the law allows, Osér Clair isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on a dossier. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the price you paid for it.

12.3 Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited under the law that applies to you.

13. Law and disputes

13.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

13.2 If there's a problem, please email us first, since most issues can be settled that way. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.

14. Changes to these terms

14.1 We may update these terms. The version in effect when you buy applies to that purchase. The date at the top shows when this version took effect.
